ExcelFormulaBot solves the single most-Googled spreadsheet problem in existence: you know what you want the spreadsheet to do, but not the incantation to make it do it. Type your goal in plain English — 'count rows where status is Complete and the date is this month', 'extract the domain from these email addresses', 'sum column B only where column A matches this list' — and it returns the formula, formula-free explanation, and increasingly the Google Apps Script or SQL equivalent. It supports Excel, Google Sheets, and now Notion and Airtable syntaxes, which quietly makes it a cross-platform formula translator, not just an Excel helper.

Accuracy in our tests was strong for common aggregation, lookup, date, and text patterns — the bread and butter of office spreadsheets — with the explanation text being the genuinely underrated part: users reported actually learning the functions rather than copy-pasting blindly, which compounds. Complex array logic and deeply nested conditional chains occasionally produced formulas that needed manual debugging, and VBA/macros remain hit-or-miss.
